I am so excited and proud of my brand new song, a tribute to Ian Tyson, who passed away Dec.29th 2022. I admired and was inspired musically by Ian my entire life and was able to include 21 of his actual song titles into the song. I want to thank Keith Floen who was a part of the writing process, and played amazing piano on the record, along with my long time producer/engineer guitar player, bass player and background singer John Thiel, to Joey McIntyre on drums, and the incomparable Bruce Hoffman on steel guitar, mandolin and fiddle. Once again, each of them added their magic and color to one of my songs, to bring it to life. Thanks team, I'm so blessed to have you all in my life !!!
Due to the enthusiastic response I received from several influential music industry peers after they heard the song, I have taken their advice and will release "THE SONGS HE LEFT" to radio across Canada and parts of the USA during the 2nd week in Sept. 2023.
